Opening on 15th September 2018, the new V&A Museum in Dundee will be the only museum in Scotland dedicated to design. Sandford is less than 10 minutes drive from the new museum so is the ideal place to stay when visiting.

The permanent galleries will be the heart of V&A Dundee, the first in the world dedicated to telling the extraordinary story of Scottish design.
Explore the everyday relevance of design and how it improves our lives, experience the processes that underpin it and discover little-known stories of Scottish design with international impact.
Curated in collaboration with V&A South Kensington, the Scottish Design Galleries will explore Scotland’s design landscape, historically and today.
The galleries will display around 300 exhibits, ranging from architecture to fashion, healthcare to furniture, and engineering to video game design, drawn from the V&A’s world-famous collections of art, design and performance, as well as museums, private collections and designers across Scotland and the world.
Entry to these permanent galleries will be free.
